No QW Branding For Commercial License
Another improvement with the most recent update is that the Question Writer branding screen is no longer added to any quizzes made with a commercial license of Question Writer. This was an issue for many commercial users who didn't like the branding screen and saw little difference between the academic and commercial versions. Thanks for your feedback on this - the branding screen is gone.

Choose Your Own Font
Each theme has a choice of fonts associated with it - for example the Soft Focus theme uses the Tahoma font. This was causing a problem for Japanese language quizzes - as the Japanese characters are often not present in Western fonts.
Previously, it was only possible to override the font with Publisher Edition, or by creating a new theme. Now Quiz Edition users can explictly choose different fonts to use with their quizzes, irrespective of the theme used.

I'd like to put up a Japanese example - I've got a free academic license for someone who can create a Japanese translation of the Italy quiz with Question Writer. e-mail me alex@centalquestion.com
This offer is currently open.

Essay Style Questions
Quiz Edition now supports essay style questions. You can download the latest version of the software here. The essay style question is for use with the results-by-email service. Here's how it works - when you include essay style questions in a quiz, the other questions are marked automatically - so the user gets the feedback automatically. The essay answers are forwarded by the results-by-email service and can be graded later, to create a final overall mark for the quiz.
It can also be use to ask for comments and suggestions - See an example in action - on Question 11 of the Italy quiz, I'm asking for feedback on Question Writer.
